Norman Needleman is an American politician currently serving as a member of the Connecticut State Senate for the 33rd district, a position he has held since 2018. In addition to his legislative duties, he has served as the First Selectman of Essex, Connecticut, since 2011. Throughout his tenure, Needleman has been an advocate for local infrastructure and utility accountability, notably calling for the resignation of the Eversource Energy CEO following the company's response to Tropical Storm Isaias in 2020.
