Obdulia Taboadela Álvarez is a Spanish politician and academic who served as a Senator representing A Coruña. A sociologist by training, she holds a doctorate from the Complutense University of Madrid and has been a professor at the University of A Coruña since 1995. Her political career includes serving as the Subdelegate of the Government in A Coruña from 2004 to 2007, followed by roles as a municipal councilor overseeing interior, personnel, and urban planning portfolios. She has also authored several academic works on labor policy and trade unionism.
