Octavie Modert is a Luxembourgish politician and a member of the Christian Social People's Party. Born in Grevenmacher, she pursued her higher education in Strasbourg and Reading. Modert was first elected to the Chamber of Deputies in 2004. During her career, she has held several significant government positions, including Secretary of State for Relations with Parliament, Secretary of State for Agriculture, Viticulture and Rural Development, and Secretary of State for Culture, Higher Education and Research. At the time of her initial appointment in 2004, she was the youngest member of the government.
