Olaf Kießling

Olaf Kießling is a German politician and a member of the Landtag of Thuringia. Born in 1967 in Elgersburg, he has served in the state parliament since 2014, initially elected via the state list and subsequently winning the direct mandate for the Ilm-Kreis II constituency in 2019 and 2024. Professionally, he is an electrical technician and a business economist specializing in controlling and taxation. In addition to his parliamentary duties, he works as an independent financial and insurance broker and serves as the treasurer for the AfD district association of Ilmkreis–Gotha.
