Пономарёв, Александр Сергеевич

Oleksandr Ponomaryov is a Ukrainian politician and economist who has served as a People's Deputy of Ukraine for the VII, VIII, and IX convocations. Before entering politics, he worked in the industrial sector and served as the chairman of the board for Berdyansk Rayahroprompostach. During his parliamentary career, he focused on transportation infrastructure and road management. Following the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Ponomaryov faced significant controversy, including allegations of treason and collaboration with Russian forces, which he has consistently denied. He is currently held in a Kyiv detention center pending legal proceedings.
