Oletha Faust-Goudeau

Oletha Faust-Goudeau is an American politician serving as a member of the Kansas Senate, representing the 29th district since 2009. She made history as the first African-American woman to serve in the Kansas Senate. Previously, she served in the Kansas House of Representatives from 2004 to 2009. A community activist from Wichita, she focuses on protecting the rights of seniors, children, and the disabled, and has successfully sponsored legislation regarding grandparents' rights and insurance protections for the families of fallen firefighters.
