Omkar Markam

Omkar Singh Markam is an Indian politician serving as a member of the Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly for the Dindori constituency. First elected in 2008, he has secured four consecutive terms in 2013, 2018, and 2023. He previously served as the Cabinet Minister for the Tribal Affairs Department in the Government of Madhya Pradesh from 2018 to 2020. A farmer by profession with an MA in Sociology, Markam is actively involved in social reform, poverty eradication, and cultural advocacy programs.
