Opolot Simon Peter Okwalinga is a Ugandan politician, security policy strategist, and Member of Parliament representing Kanyum County in Kumi District. A member of the governing National Resistance Movement, he has served in Parliament since 2021 and was re-elected in the January 2026 general elections, defeating opposition figure Patrick Oboi Amuriat. In addition to his legislative duties, he serves as the chairperson of the Teso Parliamentary Group and is known for developing the Guardian Ideology governance framework.
