Orhan Sümer

Orhan Sümer is a Turkish academic and politician currently serving as a Member of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey. Before entering national politics, he had a distinguished career in academia, serving as a faculty member and later as the Dean of the Faculty of Education at Gaziosmanpaşa University. He is a graduate of Gazi University's Faculty of Education. While he was previously associated with the Justice and Development Party, he currently represents the Republican People's Party in parliament, having been re-elected in the 2023 general election.
