中村修

Osamu Nakamura is a Japanese politician currently serving as the Mayor of Toride in Ibaraki Prefecture. Born in 1962 in Toride, he previously worked as a building materials merchant and held various leadership roles in local sports and community associations. Nakamura began his political career as a member of the Toride City Council in 2004, serving three terms, followed by four terms as a member of the Ibaraki Prefectural Assembly starting in 2013. He was elected as the Mayor of Toride in April 2023 with the support of the Liberal Democratic Party and the Democratic Party for the People.
