Osher Shekalim

Osher Shekalim is an Israeli politician currently serving as a Member of the Knesset for the Likud party. Born to Iranian-born parents, he holds a master's degree in political communication and a bachelor's degree in political science and sociology from Bar-Ilan University. Shekalim entered the Knesset in February 2023 as a replacement under the Norwegian Law. During his tenure, he has served on the Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee and the State Control Committee, where he has been involved in significant legislative and oversight debates regarding national security and the 7 October attacks.
