Ovidiu-Victor Ganț

Ovidiu-Victor Ganț is a Romanian politician of ethnic German descent who has served as a member of the Chamber of Deputies since 2004. Representing the Democratic Forum of Germans in Romania, he previously held the position of sub-secretary of state in the Department for Inter-Ethnic Relations and served as a Member of the European Parliament following Romania's accession to the EU in 2007. A former mathematics teacher and high school director, Ganț has been recognized with multiple honors, including the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany.
