Owen Ncube

Owen Mudha Ncube is a Zimbabwean politician currently serving as the Minister of State for Provincial Affairs and Devolution for Midlands Province, a position he assumed in September 2023. Previously, he served as the Minister of State for National Security from 2017 until his dismissal in 2022 due to allegations of inappropriate conduct. Throughout his career, he has been a prominent figure within the ZANU–PF party, having held roles such as the provincial youth league secretary for administration. His tenure as national security minister was marked by significant controversy, including international sanctions imposed by the United States and the United Kingdom following his role in the government's response to 2019 fuel protests.
