Péter Niedermüller

Péter Niedermüller is a Hungarian politician currently serving as the Mayor of Erzsébetváros, a position he has held since his election in 2019. Previously, he served as a Member of the European Parliament from 2014 to 2019, where he was a member of the Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs and acted as the Treasurer for the Group of the Progressive Alliance of Socialists and Democrats. Throughout his career, he has been affiliated with the Democratic Coalition and has represented various opposition coalitions in local governance.
