Paltu Ram

Paltu Ram is an Indian politician currently serving as a member of the 18th Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly, representing the Balrampur constituency. A member of the Bharatiya Janata Party, he was first elected to the assembly in 2017 and successfully retained his seat in the 2022 legislative elections by defeating his opponent from the Indian National Congress. In addition to his legislative duties, he previously served as the Minister of State for Sainik Welfare in the Government of Uttar Pradesh under the first Yogi Adityanath ministry, having been appointed to the position in September 2021.
