Paola Espinosa

Paola Espinosa is a Mexican politician and former professional diver who currently serves as a Member of the Chamber of Deputies representing Jalisco's 8th district. Before entering politics, she was a highly decorated athlete, competing in four Olympic Games and winning medals in Beijing 2008 and London 2012. She also achieved historic success as the first Mexican diver to win a world title in 2009. Following her retirement from competitive sports in 2022, she transitioned into public service, eventually winning election to the federal legislature in 2024.
