Park Yong-sun is a South Korean politician currently serving as the 41st Mayor of Pohang. Born in Pyeongchang, Gangwon, he moved to Pohang and built his career there, initially working at POSCO after graduating from Pohang Technical High School. He served as a member of the North Gyeongsang Provincial Council for multiple terms, including a tenure as Vice-Chairman of the 12th Provincial Council. He was elected as Mayor of Pohang in 2026, representing the People Power Party.
