Mpho Parks Franklyn Tau is a South African politician serving as the Minister of Trade, Industry and Competition since July 2024. A prominent member of the African National Congress, he previously served as the Mayor of Johannesburg from 2011 to 2016 and held various executive roles, including Deputy Minister of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs and Member of the Executive Council for Economic Development in Gauteng.
