Zamani Saul

Zamani Saul is a South African politician serving as the 5th Premier of the Northern Cape since 2019. A member of the African National Congress (ANC), he has also held the position of Provincial Chairperson of the party in the Northern Cape since 2017. Saul holds a Doctorate of Laws in Public Law and Jurisprudence and has an extensive background in public administration, having previously served as a municipal manager. Known for his focus on government efficiency, he has implemented policies aimed at reducing wasteful expenditure, such as reallocating funds from official vehicle purchases to the procurement of ambulances for the province.
