Parvan Dangov

Parvan Dangov is a Bulgarian politician currently serving as the Mayor of Dupnitsa. A veterinarian by training, he first entered local politics in the early 2000s and served his initial mayoral term from 2003 to 2007, during which he gained prominence for his vocal opposition to the influence of organized crime groups in the municipality. After years of working in the public sector, including a tenure as director of the Regional Food Safety Agency in Kyustendil, he returned to the mayoral office in 2023. Throughout his career, he has been known for his focus on local economic development, infrastructure modernization, and anti-corruption advocacy.
