Vasil Terziev

Vasil Terziev is a Bulgarian politician and entrepreneur who currently serves as the Mayor of Sofia. Before entering politics, he co-founded the successful software company Telerik in 2002, which was later acquired by Progress Software in 2014. A graduate of the American University in Bulgaria, Terziev transitioned into public service after a prominent career in the technology sector. He was elected mayor in November 2023, campaigning on a platform focused on administrative reform, urban development, and modernization of the capital city.
