Patrick Appel is a German politician and member of the Landtag of Hesse, representing the constituency of Wetterau II since 2024. Before his election to the state parliament, he served as a teacher for mathematics and Protestant religion at the Konradsdorf comprehensive school in Ortenberg. Appel has been active in local politics for many years, serving as a member of the Wetterau district council since 2011 and as the local head of the Wolferborn district in Büdingen since 2021. He is a member of the Christian Democratic Union (CDU).
