Patrick de Carolis

Patrick de Carolis is a French politician, journalist, and writer who has served as the Mayor of Arles since 2020. Before entering politics, he had a distinguished career in media, notably serving as the president of France Télévisions from 2005 to 2010 and creating popular television programs such as 'Zone interdite' and 'Des racines et des ailes'. A member of the Académie des beaux-arts, he previously directed the Marmottan Monet Museum. In his political role, he is affiliated with the Horizons party and has focused on local infrastructure and cultural development in Arles.
