Patrick McMath is an American politician, businessman, and attorney serving as a member of the Louisiana State Senate representing the 11th district since 2020. A member of the Republican Party, he previously served as an at-large city councilman in Covington, Louisiana, starting in 2017. Before entering elected office, McMath worked as an assistant district attorney and established several businesses. He secured his seat in the State Senate after defeating Reid Falconer in a 2019 runoff election.
