Paul Deighton, Baron Deighton, is a British Conservative politician and life peer who has served as a member of the House of Lords since 2012. A former investment banker at Goldman Sachs, he gained prominence as the Chief Executive of the London Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games (LOCOG) for the 2012 Summer Olympics. He subsequently served as Commercial Secretary to HM Treasury from 2013 to 2015 and was appointed as the government's 'PPE tsar' during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. Beyond his political career, he has held leadership roles including Chairman of London Heathrow Airport and Chairman of The Economist Group.
