Paul Dennett

Paul Dennett is a British politician serving as the Mayor of Salford since 2016 and as the Deputy Mayor of Greater Manchester since 2021. A member of the Labour Party, he previously served as a local councillor for the Langworthy ward. Dennett holds degrees from the University of Ulster, Manchester Business School, and Manchester Metropolitan University. Before his political career, he worked in customer services and as a lecturer and HR adviser. He is known for his focus on social policy, including homelessness and healthy living initiatives within the Greater Manchester Combined Authority.
