Paul Drayson, Baron Drayson is a British businessman, amateur racing driver, and Labour politician who has served as a life peer in the House of Lords since 2004. A former Minister of Science and Minister for Defence Procurement, he has held significant roles within the UK government, including positions in the Ministry of Defence and the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills. Outside of politics, Drayson is a prominent entrepreneur, having co-founded the pharmaceutical company PowderJect and served as CEO of Drayson Technologies. He is also a Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering and an active figure in the motorsport industry.
