Paul Mavhima

Profile

Paul Mavhima is a Zimbabwean politician currently serving as the Minister of Skills Audit and Development. A member of the ZANU-PF party, he has held several high-level government positions, including Minister of Primary and Secondary Education and Deputy Minister of Primary and Secondary Education under the administration of President Emmerson Mnangagwa. Before entering politics, Mavhima earned a Ph.D. in Public Administration from Florida State University in 1999 and worked for the Florida Legislature's Office of Program Policy Analysis and Government Accountability. He returned to Zimbabwe in 2009 to serve as the Principal Director in the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister before successfully running for election in 2013.
