Paul McMurtry

Paul McMurtry is an American politician serving as a member of the Massachusetts House of Representatives since 2007, representing the Eleventh Norfolk District. A Democrat, he has held various leadership roles, including Chair of the Joint Committee on Community Development and Small Businesses. Outside of his legislative career, McMurtry is a small business owner who operates the Dedham Community Theatre. His legislative work has focused on economic development, infrastructure, and public health, notably sponsoring legislation to raise the tobacco purchase age to 21.
