Pauline Stafford

Pauline Stafford is a Scottish politician and professional classical pianist who has served as the Member of the Scottish Parliament (MSP) for the Bathgate constituency since 2026. Before her election to the Scottish Parliament, she served as an SNP councillor for the Bathgate Ward on West Lothian Council, where she held the position of Depute Leader of the SNP opposition group. During her time in local government, she campaigned against the closure of community facilities and nurseries. Stafford is a lifelong resident of Bathgate and has been a vocal advocate for the musical traditions of West Lothian.
