Peggy Wright is a Canadian politician serving as a Member of the Legislative Assembly of Alberta for the constituency of Edmonton-Beverly-Clareview. Elected in the 2023 provincial general election, she currently serves as the Official Opposition critic for Labour and as the Deputy Chair of the Official Opposition caucus. Before entering provincial politics, Wright worked as an educator for over 20 years, including time as an assistant principal. She has a long-standing connection to the New Democratic Party, having previously served as the president of the party's provincial youth wing.
