Penny Allman-Payne

Penny Allman-Payne is an Australian politician serving as a member of the Australian Senate for Queensland since 2022. Before entering federal politics, she worked as a secondary school teacher for over 25 years and practiced as a lawyer specializing in insurance law. An active member of the Queensland Teachers' Union, she joined the Australian Greens in 2010 and ran for state and federal seats before her successful Senate election. In Parliament, she holds portfolio responsibilities for education, social services, and regional development.
