Pernille Vermund

Pernille Vermund is a Danish politician and architect currently serving as a member of the Folketing. She gained national prominence as the co-founder and long-time leader of the national-conservative party Nye Borgerlige, which she established in 2015. After leading the party through several election cycles, she dissolved its parliamentary group in early 2024 and joined the Liberal Alliance. A graduate of the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, she previously worked as an architect and served on the municipal council in Helsingør.
