Peter Fiabáne

Peter Fiabáne is a Slovak manager, entrepreneur, and politician who has served as the Mayor of Žilina since November 2018. He graduated from the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports at Comenius University in Bratislava in 1987. Throughout his tenure, he has prioritized the development of sports and recreational zones, public space improvements, urban safety, and transportation infrastructure. In 2020, he was appointed chairman of the Regional Partnership Council for the Upper Považie region, focusing on integrated and sustainable development strategies.
