Peter Prinsley

Peter Prinsley is a British Labour Party politician and former consultant ENT surgeon who has served as the Member of Parliament for Bury St Edmunds and Stowmarket since 2024. Before entering national politics, he had a distinguished medical career, teaching at Norwich Medical School and serving as a regional director for the Royal College of Surgeons. A member of the Jewish Labour Movement, Prinsley has focused his parliamentary work on health policy and deafness advocacy. He is known for his surprise 2024 election victory in a traditionally Conservative constituency and his active involvement in various All-Party Parliamentary Groups.
