Peter Reiß

Peter Reiß is a German politician serving as the Mayor of Schwabach since May 1, 2020. Born in Nuremberg in 1990, he studied law at the Friedrich-Alexander-University Erlangen-Nuremberg and previously worked as a government official specializing in nature conservation law. Before his election as mayor, he was a member of the Schwabach City Council starting in 2014, where he chaired the Youth Welfare Committee. He represents the Social Democratic Party (SPD) and is actively involved in numerous local community and cultural organizations.
