Peter Schiefke is a Canadian environmentalist and Liberal politician currently serving as the Member of Parliament for the riding of Vaudreuil. First elected in 2015, he has held various parliamentary secretary roles, including positions focused on youth, border security, and environment and climate change. Beyond his legislative work, Schiefke has a background in humanitarian and environmental advocacy, having co-founded the Concordia Volunteer Abroad Program and served as a director for The Climate Reality Project Canada. He currently chairs the House of Commons Standing Committee on Transport, Infrastructure, and Communities.
