Sonia LeBel

Sonia LeBel is a Canadian politician serving as a member of the National Assembly of Quebec for the electoral district of Champlain. First elected in 2018 as a member of the Coalition Avenir Québec, she has held several high-profile cabinet positions, including Minister of Justice, Minister of the Francophonie, President of the Treasury Board, and Minister of Education. Before entering provincial politics, she was a prominent lawyer who served as the chief prosecutor for the Charbonneau Commission and as the Director of Criminal and Penal Prosecutions, where she focused on organized crime and drug-related offenses.
