Peter Walsh

Peter Walsh is an Australian politician who has served as a member of the Victorian Legislative Assembly since 2002. Representing the electorate of Murray Plains, he previously served as the state leader of the National Party from 2014 to 2024. Before his parliamentary career, Walsh was a prominent figure in the agricultural sector, serving as president of the Victorian Farmers Federation. During his time in government, he held ministerial portfolios including Agriculture and Food Security and Water. He continues to serve as a backbencher following his resignation as party leader in late 2024.
