Petr Ryška

Petr Ryška is a Czech politician and former professional swimming coach who has served as the Mayor of Jihlava since 2022. A member of the Civic Democratic Party (ODS), he previously held the position of First Deputy Mayor of Jihlava starting in 2020. Before entering politics, Ryška had a distinguished career in sports, serving as the chairman of the Czech Swimming Federation and as a member of the Czech Olympic Committee. He is also known for his involvement in the development of the Horácká Multifunctional Arena in Jihlava.
