Philip Griffitts is an American politician currently serving as a Republican member of the Florida House of Representatives for the 6th district. Born in 1971, he is the son of former Panama City Beach mayor Philip Griffitts Sr. Before entering state-level politics, he managed his family-owned businesses and served as a county commissioner from 2016 to 2022. He was elected to the Florida House in November 2022, succeeding Jay Trumbull after winning the Republican primary earlier that year.
