Phillip Tarver

Phillip Tarver is an American politician currently serving as a member of the Louisiana House of Representatives for the 36th district. First elected in 2019 and assuming office on January 13, 2020, he represents the Republican Party and serves as an executive officer of the Louisiana Freedom Caucus. Prior to his legislative career, Tarver was a member of the Calcasieu Parish School Board and is the owner of Lake Charles Toyota. He was re-elected to his seat in 2023 after running unopposed.
