Pierre Hurmic

Pierre Hurmic is a French politician and lawyer who served as the Mayor of Bordeaux from 2020 to 2026. A long-time member of the Green movement, he spent twenty-five years in the municipal opposition before leading a coalition of left-wing and environmentalist parties to victory in the 2020 municipal elections. During his tenure, he focused on urban ecology, expanding pedestrian zones, and increasing solar energy infrastructure. He was defeated in the 2026 municipal elections by Thomas Cazenave and subsequently stepped down from his political mandates.
