Pierre Yang

Pierre Shuai Yang is an Australian politician and lawyer who has served as a member of the Western Australian Legislative Council since 2017. Born in Harbin, China, he immigrated to Australia at age 15 and later joined the Labor Party. Before his election to state parliament, he served on the Gosnells City Council and as a captain in the Australian Army Reserve. In his parliamentary career, he has held roles including Government Whip and Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for Health and Mental Health.
