Pietro Lorefice

Pietro Lorefice is an Italian politician currently serving as a member of the Senate of the Republic. Born in Gela, he worked as a technical surveyor for the municipality of Gela before entering politics. A member of the Five Star Movement, he served as a municipal assessor in 2015. He was first elected to the Senate in 2018 and was re-elected in 2022. During his parliamentary career, he has served on various committees, including those focused on European Union policies and the parliamentary inquiry into the illicit waste cycle, and currently holds the position of secretary of the Senate's office of the presidency.
