
Piotr Adamowicz
Profile
Piotr Adamowicz is a Polish politician, journalist, and former democratic opposition activist. Born in Elbląg, he was involved in the Solidarity movement during the 1980s and later worked as a correspondent for international agencies including Agence France-Presse and Reuters. Since 2019, he has served as a member of the Sejm, where he currently chairs the Committee on Culture, National Heritage and Media. He is also the chair of the European Solidarity Centre Council.
