A graduate of the University of Szczecin, he previously held administrative roles in the city and regional government, including serving as deputy mayor from 2002 to 2004. Throughout his long tenure, he has been associated with various political movements, including the Civic Platform and the Nonpartisan Local Government Activists, before joining the New Poland party in 2025. He is a recipient of the Commander's Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta.
