Polad Bülbüloğlu

Polad Bülbüloğlu is an Azerbaijani politician, diplomat, and former renowned musical artist. Born in Baku in 1945, he gained fame in the Soviet Union as a singer and composer before transitioning into a prominent political career. He served as the Minister of Culture of Azerbaijan from 1988 to 2006 and subsequently as the Ambassador of Azerbaijan to the Russian Federation until 2024. Currently, he serves as a member of the National Assembly of Azerbaijan, representing the Shusha-Aghdam-Khojavend constituency, and chairs the Culture Committee.
