Prabmeet Sarkaria is a Canadian lawyer and politician serving as the Ontario Minister of Transportation since 2023. A member of the Progressive Conservative Party, he has represented the riding of Brampton South in the Legislative Assembly of Ontario since 2018. Sarkaria previously held cabinet roles including Associate Minister of Small Business and Red Tape Reduction and President of the Treasury Board. He is notable for being the first turban-wearing Sikh to be appointed to the Ontario cabinet.
