Prakash Sharan Mahat is a Nepali politician and economist currently serving as a member of the House of Representatives of Nepal. A senior leader and spokesperson for the Nepali Congress, he has held several high-level government positions, including Minister of Finance, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Minister of Energy. Throughout his career, which began during the pro-democracy movements of the Panchayat era, Mahat has been deeply involved in economic policy, governance, and Nepal's peace process.
